Kristin Nesbitt, MD

Dr. Nesbitt is board certified in orthopaedic surgery, has completed a fellowship in hand surgery, upper extremity disorders and microsurgery at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand (CAQSH). She was honored with the Dr. Harold Frost Distinguished Resident Research Award as well as the Dr. Benjamin E. and Lila Obletz Award for Outstanding performance in Orthopaedic Surgery.

After receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine she completed her internship and residency at the Henry Ford Health Science Center in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Nesbitt is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Nesbitt has published articles on various topics, including one in the Journal of Hand Surgery on distal radius fractures and the Journal of Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery on endoscopic carpal tunnel release. She also serves as a Team Physician for the Frederick Keys (the Carolina League Affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles), Thomas Johnson High School, Urbana High School, and Hood College.
