Dr. Pappas is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has been in practice since 1996 and relocated to Frederick in 2001. His fellowship training focused on the management of musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. His expertise includes performing EMGs and nerve conduction studies, as well as various diagnostic and therapeutic injections. He has lectured throughout the region on various topics in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He also serves as a Team Physician for the Frederick Keys, the Carolina League Affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles.
Dr. Pappas received his MD from the University of Maryland and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He continued his training with a fellowship in sports medicine and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
