Damian Roussel, DPM
Dr. Roussel is board qualified in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and specializes in foot and ankle care. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a four-year foot, ankle, and lower leg reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Roussel is able to treat a wide range of conditions, ranging from simple skin and soft tissue problems to major traumas and surgical reconstructions. He serves as a peer review editor for the Adult Reconstruction and Rearfoot and Ankle Trauma sections of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. Dr. Roussel has extensive teaching experience, including instructing surgical workshops and presenting lectures to various groups regarding foot and ankle conditions.
A member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Professional Wound Care Association, Dr. Roussel is very active in the medical community. He also serves as team physician for the Frederick Keys (the Carolina League Affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles), Thomas Johnson High School, Urbana High School, and Hood College.
