Patient Care: Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy

Introducing the TheraSuit Method

The TheraSuit Method is an intensive physical therapy program involving functional strengthening. This intensive program usually requires 3 weeks of one-on-one physical therapy sessions lasting 3 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Through a system of elastic bands, the suit applies precise and specific pressure to body aligning it close to normal as possible. Its unique pressure and tactile stimulation restores the nervous systems allowing proper development. The TheraSuit and Universal Exercise Unit (UEU) aides in the:

  • Ability to learn or relearn normal patterns of movement
  • External stabilization to the trunk for more coordinated movement
  • Restoration of alignment to help normalize any muscle tone
  • Eliminates gravitational force to perform independent movements
  • Balance, strength, stabilization

TheraSuit is Designed to
Treat Patients Diagnosed With

  • Cerebral Palsy
