Dr. Johnson treats children and infants with highly involved orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Since 2006, Dr. Johnson has been an integral member of the MMI pediatric program and has worked hand in hand with Dr. Copaken, who specializes in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Johnson also works as a team with all of her patient’s physicians in an effort to give her patients the best comprehensive care possible. |
Monica Johnson received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland and has special training in Pediatric Physical Therapy. While at the University of Maryland, Dr. Johnson received the Pekar- Abel Scholarship for her dedication in the field of Pediatric Physical Therapy.
MMI and Dr. Johnson are able to provide children and families with the privacy of a Kids Only Therapy Gym, where the children can use their imagination during their treatment program. Dr. Johnson works with each child individually and develops a unique plan of care which can include additional features such as home exercise programs.
